Carolina Country Music Fest

Going to any concert to see one of your favorite artists is exciting, but going to a festival and seeing your entire iTunes playlist live is like Christmas in June! That is exactly what is happening in Myrtle Beach this summer. Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and one of my personal favorites, Jake Owen just to name a few are coming to the Grand Strand for an unforgettable weekend, June 9 – 12 with Carolina Country Music Fest. Want to go? Here is what you need to do.

Get your tickets… like yesterday.

Early birds are already sold out; unless you want to be at the mercy of a scalper, buy your tickets from the festival now. Think about how much you would spend on a regular concert just to see one artist. So, spending around $100 to see more than 40 artists is a steal! Are you military? They are offering discounts for you too.

Don’t sleep in your car.

If you and your friends are committed to going, get your hotel, beach house, or condo booked! There are more tickets than resorts around the festival, do not be that group that is going to an event in one city and driving to it from another everyday because you waited until the last minute or thought it was too expensive. By the time you think about what you are spending on gas and time just to get from point A to point B every day, you will see that the costs even out. My personal opinion is to make a week of it. You are already going to be at the beach so take advantage. Also, be mindful that some private renters might require a weekly rental since it is summer.

Think ahead.

While the festival considers groups of 20 or more for group sales, the restaurants do not. It is important to think ahead with any trip, especially for groups with 6 or more people. You will have a few options with food vendors around the festival, but if you would like to have a sit down meal, please remember a couple of things. The first is you must make reservations. The best way to think of it is that every night during this festival is like a Saturday night for local restaurants. The second is to have patience; some restaurants operate on a first come first serve basis, so you might have to wait.

Remember your cowboy boots and sunscreen; you will be set for an amazing time!
