July in Myrtle Beach

While Most Cities celebrate our independence on July 4th, join us in Myrtle Beach where we celebrate all month long!

On July 1st, 4th, 8th, 12th, 15th 19th, 22nd and 29th at 10 pm Broadway at the Beach will entertain everyone with their firework display

Barefoot Landing has their shows planned for July 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at 10:15 pm

2nd Avenue N Pier in Myrtle Beach will present their displays July 4th, 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 10pm

Murrells Inlet will host a water parade, themed “Red White & Southern” beginning at 10am. Decorated boats will travel from Garden City and finish at Morse Park Landing. You can spend the day on the beach and then watch fireworks from Veterans Pier at 10pm.

Also, on July 4th be a part of the “Salute from the Shore.” Beginning at 1pm from Cherry Grove in North Myrtle beach to Hilton Head, Shaw Air Force Base’s F-16’s and several vintage military aircraft will entertain beachgoers as they fly over the South Carolina Coastline.

Croissants Bistro and Bakery again hosting its annual Cupcake Eating Contest on Saturday, July 4.  Contestants will have five minutes to devour as many iced cupcakes as they can. Other family-friendly activities will be held beginning at 2 p.m.

Screen Shot 2016-06-24 at 11.29.06 AMOn July 2nd, July 16th and July 30th visit La Belle Ami Vineyard, home of Twisted Sister wines, for their July festivals. There is a small admission charge but will be reduced by $3 (making some free) if you bring 2 can goods for the local food bank.

July 15th brings Sugar Ray, Everclear, and Lit & Sponge at the Summerland Tour at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

Saturday July 17th, Carolina Opry hosts legendary performer Art Garfunkel as part of its Myrtle Beach Performing Arts Series. Performing at the Calvin Gilmore Theater, this half of the 60s folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, will feature his greatest hits, poetry and stories.

Free summer concerts continue every Thursday from 7-9pm with North Myrtle Beach’s Music on Main.   Bring your chair and come enjoy local food, vendors and this month’s artists, Marsha Morgan Band, Tim Clark Bank, Carolina Breakers and Caribbean Chillers.
