Fisher of Men Charters

Captain Randy Elliott has been fishing out of Myrtle Beach, Calabash and Little River most of his life. He worked with his father as a boy on The New Rascal before going on to own a commercial and charter fishing boats. Captain Randy has over 40 years of experience in the fishing business. Boat: The 40’ Gloucester custom sport fisherman is powered with twin 300 hp Volvo diesels and cruises 18-20 knots and can accommodate up to 6 passengers. It is equipped with all the required US Coast Guard safety equipment, an inside cabin with benches, bunks (for snoozing on the way home) and a bathroom. There is also a shaded area on the deck. Types of Fishing: We do two types of fishing depending on the target species. Bottom fishing: The most common fishing technique used to catch fish that are found near the sea floor. Trolling: A method of fishing where the crew puts out one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish, are drawn through the water behind a boat. Each paid person takes turns reeling in the fish. Weather: If it rains, charters will run as usual; if there is excessive fog or wind the trip will not go. Trips are always decided based on the captain’s discretion. Trips can be rescheduled if there is availability or refunded to the customer. Fish Cleaning: Any fish caught that the customer chooses to keep will be cleaned/filleted and bagged at the end of the trip. The crew appreciates the tip for all the hard work on the trip. It is the desire of the captain and crew to provide you with the best experience possible. Come see for your self and book your charter

Depending on the tides and season, we will fish for Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish in the coastal backwater creeks where our estuary will give you a unique perspective of the area. On this Ocean Isle Beach fishing experience we will use either live bait or artificial lures that we provide for you. Second Avenue Pier

Myrtle Beach offers lots of great family fun, oceanfront restaurants and bars and excellent sportfishing — just not normally at the same place. But that’s the case at Second Avenue Pier, where you can fish all day and enjoy a romantic night out on the town all on the same deck. Located in the heart of the downtown Myrtle Beach district, Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach allows visitors to venture farther out into the Atlantic Ocean than anywhere else on the Grand Strand without taking a boat or plane. This pier gives guests the rare chance to stroll 900 feet out over the ocean waves and get a spectacular view of both the sea and the city skyline back on dry land. But the scenic vistas are only part of the big picture at Second Avenue Pier. By day, this wooden walkway is a hub of activity as anglers fish the deeper waters in hopes of hooking a big one. Depending on the season, sea bass, flounder, Spanish mackerel and trout are among the species regularly caught from the pier. And if you need gear, bait, licenses or tips, you’ll find it all at the Second Avenue Tackle and Gift Shop. But for those who prefer to let someone else do all the catching and cooking, the Pier House Restaurant and Rooftop Bar are the perfect places to sit back, relax and enjoy a seafood feast that came from the waters where you are perched. The restaurant is situated on the second floor and features large plate-glass windows for excellent views to match the food, and the open-air bar upstairs lets patrons enjoy the ocean air and breeze as well as a cocktail and appetizers. Second Avenue Pier also serves as the host of the weekly fireworks shows that delight downtown crowds and beachgoers up and down the coast. As the southernmost point of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Second Avenue Pier is only a short stroll from Plyler Park, where free concerts are held throughout the summer months, as well as all the great shopping, dining and attractions.
