Myrtle Beach can be a tough place to navigate if you don’t have a car. The solution is Uber. Myrtle Beach has so much to offer vacationers, and we strongly recommend that you go out and see the sites, experience the food, and enjoy everything Myrtle Beach has to offer! Uber is a new and easy way to get around town. First thing you need to do is download the Uber app from either the Apple store or the GooglePlay store. Once you have it downloaded, create a profile, and add your billing information. Its super easy. Now you are ready to order an Uber.
Set your Pickup location by tapping your finger on the plack bubble as seen in the image above. I am currently located at Broadway at the Beach. Notice how the app shows that there are multiple Uber drivers nearby!
Uber has also made it very easy to Split the cost of the fare with others in your group. With a few simple taps you can split the cost with everyone in the car! No more collecting money from family and friends. Below is a pricing chart for UberX ( 4 people or less) and Uber XL (up to 6 people). Remember the below rates are the standard pricing, but if you are coming home at 2 AM from a fun night out there could be surge pricing ( essentially there are not enough Uber drivers to meet the demand so the rate goes up) Your app will tell you if there is a surge and it will calculate the adjusted price for you.
