The Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort is routed through a spectacular piece of property in the heart of Barefoot Resort. Like many European courses, the course does not return to the clubhouse after nine holes. It is not a British linksland course, but rather a classic Lowcountry course, filled with live oaks, pines, sand, natural areas and native grasses. Located between the Dye Course and the Love Course, the Fazio course has been strategically designed, incorporating extensive tree cover and many lakes into the landscaping. Waste areas and formal bunkers have been handcrafted and placed for visual and strategic effect, while natural elevation changes add a sense of drama and excitement the to golfing round. Water features can be seen on 15 holes, yet many lakes are in out-of-play areas to ensure playability. The Fazio Course is a Par 71, approximately 6,834 yards long. The course offers five sets of tees to give players of all skill levels the opportunity to play a course of championship caliber and still have the right balance of fun and challenge. Tees and fairways consist of GN-1, which is a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf. The approach areas consist of Tif- Sport Bermuda grass and the rough areas are 419 Bermuda grass. The greens consist of a Champion UltraDwarf Grass.

Plus, from 2000-2004 Golf for Women ranked it their "Top 100 Courses in America.” King’s North features 18 of the most dramatic and picturesque holes you’ll ever encounter. The par-5 6th hole (nicknamed “The Gambler”) features an island fairway that offers a “risk-reward” shortcut to the green. If the island fairway is chosen it could leave a good chance at going for this green in two, thus the “Gamble.” However, a safe layup to the right and a short approach over water will always keep you guessing. The par-3, island green 12th hole creates a challenge of its own. A miss to the right and you could find the water, miss left and you could find the distinctive “SC” bunkers that would leave a delicate bunker shot. And don’t forget the par-4 finishing hole at 18, featuring an array of 40 bunkers escorting you to an exciting finish of an exhilarating round.

True Blue Golf Club, Mike Strantz’s fourth signature golf course, opened to rave reviews in February 1998. Strantz also designed the award-winning Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, which opened in 1994, on plantation land adjacent to True Blue. For his efforts at True Blue and Caledonia, Strantz was named “Architect of the Year” by Golf World in 1998. Strantz crafted True Blue to echo many of the characteristics of Pine Valley and Pinehurst #2, with an emphasis on maintaining a natural feel to the course. The par-72 course can stretch to 7,126 and sits on the site of historic True Blue Plantation, a famed 19th-century indigo, and rice plantation. Emphasizing the natural beauty of the area, it incorporates native grasses and vegetation to maintain much of the character of the property. The course also boasts an 18-acre practice facility, home of The Steve Dresser Golf Academy.
